About Me

My goal is to elevate others through sharing stories and strengths learned through reading, research and experience. I support and develop educational leaders through professional training and executive coaching.

Education is my passion, profession and vocation. I have spent over 25 years working in primary education across three continents and continue to enjoy learning every day.

I spent my first 11 years teaching in inner-city schools in Birmingham, London and Melbourne, learning how to set high expectations, raise standards, and develop positive relationships with some of our most vulnerable children and their families.

Having led every subject area and taught in every year group, I then focussed on building my leadership and management skills during 12 years as a Deputy and then a Headteacher in Kingston upon Thames.

Throughout this time I was able to share my passions for music and stories by writing and directing musicals and building schools full of passionate readers. As a team player, I organised leadership conferences and chaired a Headship group which developed projects that benefitted all of the children in our community.

Most recently, as the founding Head of Junior School at an international school, I had the privilege of successfully recruiting a team of highly accomplished staff and overseeing curriculum design, resourcing, organisation and routines as well as helping to establish the culture and high standards of the school.

We are all on a learning journey; let’s grow together.
